Getting yourself registered through e-mail ID and phone number is not enough to get the recruiter calls and desired profile. While site allows you to apply without registration however that does not worth it. I would recommend completing the profile and set-up job alerts so that you don't miss any decent opportunity. 

Why is it important?

In layman terms, you need to sell yourself and for that having a good profile is a mandate. According to survey reports, an employer while scanning through different profiles(or resume) contributes on an average 3 seconds per candidate. Thus, it is important to have an updated profile, resume, cover letter and you.

REGISTER YOURSELF

1. Go to https://www.naukri.com/
2. Click on "Register Now" or Login then Register Now.
3. There will be two options - one for freshers and other for professionals. There is no difference between the two, just a plus tab for employment. 
4. Enter all the details of all the tabs- Do not skip any step or try not to leave any field empty
5. Once done, you may skip filling job alerts later and complete your profile first.

Do not skip any and do not think this internship or that training is not worth including. There is something to learn about everything you do. So, not just include it but highlight that you have done it.
